VD Gulf Adds to Russian Heavy Maintenance Customers
VD Gulf has agreed a contract to carry out heavy maintenance checks on five 737 aircraft operated by Russian carrier UTair.
The Middle Eastern MRO confirmed it had already taken the first of the narrowbody jets at its main base in Sharjah, UAE.
It said apart from the C4 check and six-year inspection program, several ADs/SBs will also be embodied on the Boeing aircraft.
Work is scheduled for completion by the end of 2016.
Mikhail Khoroshaev, director general of VD Gulf, said: “It’s always significant when Customer keeps coming to our facility for service. I’m confident UTair will be fully satisfied with our high quality service and attention to detail. We are looking forward to continue our cooperation for many years to come”.
