    Lydon-Rodgers to Head up GE Aviation’s Services Division

    GE Aviation has named Jean Lydon-Rodgers as the new president and CEO of its services business.

    Evendale, Ohio-headquartered GE announced the leadership change on Monday (Dec 12.).

    In the role, Lydon-Rodgers will oversee providing operators of GE and its joint ventures commercial engines with aftermarket products and offerings aimed at lowering their engine lifecycle cost of ownership.

    Lydon-Rodgers takes over from Kevin McAllister, who joined Boeing as the new president and CEO of its commercial aircraft division last month.

    She most recently worked as president and CEO of GE Aviation, Military Systems, overseeing working with the US Department of Defense and multiple international military customers for aircraft, helicopter and marine engines.

    Lydon-Rodgers holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University along with a master’s degree in business administration from Xavier University.
