Joramco Wins Base Maintenance Contract for TUIfly Belgium E190s
Joramco has signed an agreement to conduct base maintenance for TUIfly Belgium’s fleet of three E190 aircraft.
The first of two maintenance checks planned for this year commenced earlier this month on October 3, while a second C-Check is scheduled to follow by the end of 2016.
A third C-Check is planned for the Embraer aircraft in February 2017.
Osama Fattaleh, CEO of Amman-headquartered Joramco, said: “This [contract] reaffirms the success of Joramco’s efforts in penetrating the European market and emphasizes the strength of Joramco’s capability in maintaining Embraers”.
TUIfly Belgium, one of six airlines associated with the TUI Group, reverted to its TUIfly Belgium name last Wednesday (October 19) having operated as Jetairfly since being founded in 2003.
Along with the E190s, the airline also operates 20 737 Family aircraft, one 767-300ER and one 787-8.
