Greenwich buys avionics experts Airpro
North American MRO, parts provider and asset management firm Greenwich AeroGroup has added Airpro Aviation Systems to its network of businesses.
Miami-based Airpro specialises in repair and overhaul of electronics, electrical and mechanical instruments and avionics, providing services on equipment for Airbus, ATR, Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer, Fokker and McDonnel Douglas aircraft.
In announcing the acquisition yesterday (July 14), Greenwich AeroGroup’s SVP of CR&O and distribution Dave Miller said that Airpro was “an excellent strategic fit” with the group’s repair and overhaul businesses and would provide its customers with “a broader and deeper platform of products and services”.
Established in 1996 Airpro holds Part-145 approvals from the FAA and EASA, as well as authorities in Brazil and Indonesia. Alongside component repairs, the firm also offers rotable exchange programmes.
