Bombardier CS300 Gets FAA Type Validation

Bombardier’s CS300 aircraft has been awarded type validation by the FAA.

The approval means both variants of the CSeries – the CS300 and the smaller CS100 – have been certified by the FAA, EASA and Transport Canada.

It follows the FAA conducting an operational evaluation on the CS100 and CS300 aircraft and determined that both aircraft will share the same pilot type rating.
