ap&m Europe puts finishing touches to an entertaining show floor

While boardroom dealings and high-flying meetings are part and parcel of almost every industry, in aviation there’s no substitute for face to face networking where nothing gets lost in translation, and technology doesn’t get in the way (we’re looking at you, Skype…).

That’s where ap&m Europe comes in. Networking works best when you combine the boardroom personnel with a bar stool approach, and ap&m Europe’s show floor makes for the perfect environment in which to make new contacts and develop existing relationships.

“We see ap&m as a great opportunity to meet people from right across the MRO sector in one place,” explains Wayne Elder, Director of Purchasing at Aero-Zone. “It’s also a more intimate event than some of the other trade shows we’ve been to, allowing us to interact more on a one-to-one basis.”

“We see ap&m Europe as the leading aviation aftermarket exhibition,” adds Álvaro Macarrón, Managing Director of TP Aerospace Solutions. “It’s the perfect event to give us a presence, to talk to new and existing customers and showcase what we do in the aviation market. It’s a much better networking event than we’ve seen at other exhibitions.”

All work and no play makes for a lack of productivity though, and we are set to have you covered yet again in 2016. Mini golf, drone racing, a motorbike simulator on the Skywheels stand and a car simulator on the Blue Sky Industries stand are just some of the interactive features you can expect at Olympia, while our “fly in a spitfire” competition is already proving incredibly popular and is one to definitely not miss out on.

On the show floor you’ll be able to meet a fantastic range of pre-registered airlines: with local carriers including British Airways, Jet2.com, BMI Regional, Thomson Airways and Virgin Atlantic; European opertors including Danish Air Transport, Germania, Eurowings, TUIfly Netherlands, LOT Polish Airlines, HIFLY, Portugalia Airlines and Vueling; while from the Middle East region, airlines such as Royal Falcon Airlines, Qatar Airways, Tunisair, flydubai and Etihad Airways are also confirmed.

We’ve got the big names represented; interactive exhibits and competitions all set to entertain throughout the exhibition; and 200 industry suppliers ready and waiting to meet you. Can you afford to miss out? See you in London on 1 and 2 June.
